Traveling as Couple
Luxurious and upscale are the only two words that come to mind when describing this hotel. A great place to stay for a weekend in Chicago.

The bathroom hot faucet handle was broken, which the maid had to have noticed when cleaning the the sink. It was unacceptable. The parking was outrageously expensive. We were not prepared to pay $53/night, plus the tips involved with taking advantage of the in/out privilege, which made us feel very uncomfortable because obviously the valet who took the car from us expected a tip and the valet who brought the car to us expected a tip as well. Good hotel in a very good location on Michigan Avenue. Staff was friendly. Bad side was that the pool water was quite cool. OK for swimming laps, but not for long in around. Also, the hotel charged for wireless seemed a bit petty. ...read more
